Three 15 Minute Workouts

I was talking to a client this week, who does a ‘homework’ session every week, on top of our training. Basically I’ve given her an extra session to do on her own through the week. She told me that since she’s so short on time, sometimes the extra session gets skipped because she knows she won’t be able to get the whole thing done.

Rather than miss a workout entirely, I suggested she break one of the workouts up into manageable blocks of time for exercise – 15 minutes at a time, for example.

I started thinking about how often we have 15 or 20 minutes free which we could spend exercising, if only we weren’t used to this mindset that a workout needs to be long in order to be worthwhile. On that note, here are three very worthwhile 15 minute workouts for you to try. Each workout has 2 circuits. The idea is to move quickly from one exercise to the next in a circuit, without taking a break. Use the weights that are right for you, just make sure the last repetition of a set is challenging, if not impossible. That’s when you have the right weight.

ENJOY!!

    1. Thank you SO much!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE sumo squats! This is the way I nearly always program – a mix of upper and lower body movements, so that the sore is equally distributed over the whole body the next day! πŸ˜‰
