Spring has almost, almost sprung here in New York. The last few days have been lovely and the snow is slowly but surely disappearing. It’s definitely that odd change of season time when you’re not really sure what’s going to work in terms of layering when you’re out and about.
You already know I’m a big fan of TrailHeads products, so enter these TrailHeads Women’s Twister Running Gloves that I’ve been wearing for a couple of months now. I specifically chose this lighter-weight running glove to review, because while my hands start out freezing when I go running in the cold, they warm up quickly.
TrailHeads Twister Running Gloves Review
I wore these glovesΒ through some of the coldest weather of the winter and was really surprised by how warm they were – just like I found out when I reviewed the TrailHeads ponytail headband, the lightweight fabric is deceptively insulating. The photo below was taken right after a run in 25 degree weather and my hands stayed toasty. π
What I wasn’t expecting was that these actually worked for my everyday life as well. Now, granted, I’m a personal trainer and a mama in Brooklyn, which means a lot of walking around all day long. It’s not like I’m rocking heels and skirts or looking fancy. Plus, being this pregnant means sneakers all the time is just my go-to at this point. But with the cute, feminine pattern, these have actually been perfect for my lifestyle.
The smartphone fingertips are an especially awesome feature –Β I never have a freezing hand if I want to check my phone while I’m out. And let’s face it, running bloggers would be lost without the option to take a quick shot out running – whether it’s a sunrise, a selfie, or the tried and true shoes shot, we need that easy access to our phone. π
If you don’t InstagramΒ the run, did it really happen??
Happily, the lovely people at TrailHeads are offering one of my readers their own pair of Twister Running Gloves! All you need to do is leave a blog post comment, then enter via Rafflecoptor below. Here are just a few more reasons why you want to win these gloves:
- They’re machine washable, even with the touchscreen feature. They’ve been through the wash a few times and I’ve had no problems.
- They are super soft – made of a polyester/spandex fabric.
- TrailHeads is a small, independent company (founded and run by a married couple, Ed and Stephanie Raftery) which has a Give Back policy – 3% of their annual sales goes to charitable donations.
Now’s the perfect time for you to rock these – it’s still chilly out for running and these will take you through the end of winter and early spring! Enter below – good luck!
Entry limited to US shipping addresses, the giveaway closes at 12:00am Tuesday, March 17.
You can also check out TrailHeads on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with sales, deals and giveaways!
You know I love all things TrailHeads and these gloves are no exception. You wear them well mama and you should be happy that your everyday look mirrors your work look. I have the same issue but I’m not a personal trainer anymore so what’s my excuse?? Hahaha!! And yes, have mastered the shoe shot!!

I’ve never heard of TrailHead gloves before but they look great. I’d love a pair to try out!!
Nope, if you don’t Instagram a run it didn’t happen! π I almost always take at least one picture on every run. Also, woohoo for a local company! I didn’t know TrailHeads was based in CT! Way cool.

I am part of photos during group runs, but I am not a selfie person generally. I do like to walk occasionally to get some pics of sunset and, recently, playful dolphins π
I take photos, the scenery here in Colorado is beautiful!
I have a pair very similar but with pink trim – love them!!!

I’ve never taken photos on a run before!
Those gloves look amazing!
I don’t take pictures on runs but I can’t leave a cute cat or baby undocumented. Which makes for a thrilling Instagram feed, as you can probably imagine.
