These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

These Are A Few Of My Favorite ThingsIf you follow me on Twitter, you know that I often share the blog posts I’ve enjoyed throughout the week. I figured I’d start off this Favorite Things post with some good old-fashioned LINK LOVE! πŸ™‚

Here are some favorite posts I shared on Twitter last week:

Loved this video post on theΒ Top 5 Things To Know Before Your First Yoga Class, over on Mile Posts.

Tips onΒ working out and running during pregnancyΒ from pregnant runner & personal trainer Laura at Mommy Run Fast.

Great list ofΒ 20 Indoor Activities for KidsΒ from another of my Fit Mama Fridays,Β KellyΒ of New Leaf Wellness.

Interesting look atΒ how body fat percentage affects running performance, on the Breaking Muscle site.

My lovely friendΒ Zoe, the Bush Ballerina, writing about all the waysΒ She’s Never Going To Make ItΒ and why we should rephrase what we mean by success.

Lynda at Fitnessmomwinecountry sharing some powerful words she wants to use this year.

Nellie from Brooklyn Active Mama wrote about the 3 Qualities You Need to Succeed on Your Fitness Journey

One of my Fit Mama Friday mamas, Chana, ranting about people telling her how big her pregnant belly is.

Christine from Love Life Surf gives us 6 Ways to Fit Yoga Into Your Life. (I do #3 all the time at home!)

Cori from Olive To Run just doesn’t give a damn. (And she’s pretty happy about it, too!)

These were my three favorite photos I shared on Instagram last week:

(p.s. you canΒ follow me on Instagram for more cute photos of Roman & lots of my running photos! πŸ˜‰ )

Here are a few great sources for new exercises and workouts I’ve been checking out:

Kim’s blog Day With KT – every day she does her ’44s’, where she takes one exercise and does 44 reps. I often use some of Kim’s moves in my own workouts and have even used a couple in clients’ programs.

Breaking Muscle. This is a great website, with lots of well-researched, smart fitness articles. It also has an awesome workouts section which I highly recommend.

I haven’t looked at all of these yet, but Alaya, my Fit Mama Friday last week, recommended these sites if you’re interested in starting out with Kettlebells:

Lauren Brooks’ channel on YouTube;

The Dragon Door website;

The StrongFirst website;

and Pat Flynn’s channel on YouTube (coincidentally, Pat Flynn is also a contributor to the Breaking Muscle website!)

There you have it – a few of my favorite things for the week!

What are your favorite sources online for workouts?

Any posts you read this week that you loved?

What kinds of photos would I see on your Instagram?
