I first stumbled across Ruthie’s blog She’s Wicked Healthy after reading her column Run For Your Life on the iRunner blog (iRunnerΒ is one of the founders of the #runchat hashtag and chats on Twitter). Ruth isΒ now one of my favorite bloggers to read. She’s smart, fit, funny and totally gets it when it comes to finding your motivation, or pushing yourself through a plateau. I love her love of running and I love how smart and empathetic she is as well. I’m so happy to have her guest posting here today with not one, but SEVEN awesome workouts rounded up, all of which you can do at home, since there’s no equipment necessary. Try them out, sweat and enjoy!
Hello Fine Fit Day friends!
My name is Ruthie and I blog over at She’s Wicked Healthy!Β I’m SO excited to be here with you today on one of my favorite spots on the internet!
I love Carly and her blog because her philosophy is so on point! She is committed to her health and works her tail off…and is somehow always smilingβ¦amiright?!
On my teeny tiny sliver of the internet, I share my thoughts on food, fitness, and overall, living the healthiest and happiest life possible. I love to run, lift, and eat healthy, nourishing foods (all topped with Teddy peanut butter). Currently, I’m studying for my group fitness certification and I can’t wait to start teaching! I believe that nutrition and fitness are one part hardcore – you’ve got to be dedicated and do the work – and one part laid back – it’s about feeling your best and creating a healthy, balancedΒ lifestyle.
I share plenty of workouts on my blog, and today we are rounding up a few faves that require no equipment!
Seven Do-Anywhere NO Equipment Workouts
I started getting into no equipment workouts after moving to rural Vermont last summer, where my access to a gym was limited. Now that I have a gym close by again I still keep these in my training rotation because they’re fun and effective.
Some of the best workouts are ones in which a positive attitude, your own body, and focus are the only things you need! As much as I love the gym and lifting weights – let’s be real – life happens and we can’t always get there. Not only that, but you don’t NEED to get there in order to have an all out awesome workout.
Whether you’re short on time, traveling, a new mom, or are just looking for a challenging and effective workout, you’re in luck! These workouts are sure to get the job done.
(PS: No equipment needed = no excuses!) Just sayinβ.
*Disclaimer. I am not a fitness professional. These workouts are created based on my knowledge and experience. Please consult with your doctor and trainer before attempting any new workout.*

Thank you for these. I am just starting my journey to regular and consistent fitness and these will make a huge difference. I follow Carly but am now also following you. As a Vermonter living in Texas, it is nice to follow someone and see pictures from home.
I may have to look some of these exercises up as I am not familiar with them all but I now have a place to start when it is 100 degrees here this summer. So thank you again.
Perrin, look the exercises up by name on You Tube so you can see it performed as well!
Will do Carly. Thank you.
This is perfect timing since the weather here in CT has finally reached upwards of 60 and, when the sun is out, I’m not going inside a gym!! Great ideas here and love meeting a new, healthy, fun blogger. Thanks ladies!
