Gift Guide for Yogis

Today is all about the yoga-loving people on the nice list. When it comes to yoga, there are so many props and accessories you can find for the yogis and yoginis in your life. I’ve rounded up my favorites, as well as clothes and fun yoga-themed gifts.

Remember, all this week I’m sharing gift guides with a fitness theme! If you missed it, here is yesterday’s post on gifts for runners and check back in the rest of this week for three more gift guides. I give and give. (Get it? hee hee) And just a disclosure that this post includes Amazon affiliate links, meaning if you click on one of these awesome gifts for yogis and buy it through Amazon, I’ll get a small commission at no cost to you.

Here is the Fine Fit Day Gift Guide for Yogis:

Gift Guide for Yogis - If you know someone who loves yoga, they will love a gift idea from this list! Whether it’s for the holidays, a birthday, or a just because present, the om-lover in your life will appreciate these gifts! | yoga gifts | namaste |

  1. Jewelry is never a bad idea for a gift and this pretty lotus necklace from Dogeared is a great choice for your yogini. It comes with a notecard explaining the significance of the symbol and it’s available in silver or gold.
  2. Yoga Mat Spray is good for disinfecting your yoga mat between uses, as well as giving you a little aromatherapy pick-me-up. I love this organic set from PLH Yoga – they look good, give great message and smell nice, too!
  3. Yoga blocks are great for anyone who is starting out with yoga at home. They’re a useful prop you usually only find in the classroom, so if you have a friend doing yoga classes online, this is the present for them.
  4. If your yoga class is just one part of a busy day, having a separate yoga mat tote is kind of a pain. This Apera Yoga Tote is genius – a regular tote bag for all your stuff, with a clever space for a mat on top. You can use it with or without the mat and it still looks cute. I’ve had an Apera backpack for a long time – I reviewed it here – and it is still going strong. I can’t recommend this brand enough!
  5. A layering blanket for your mat is great for slip-free posing and keeping the sweat off your mat – so it’s a good choice for the hot yoga devotee. Manduka yogitoes Yoga Towels get great reviews.
  6. How adorable are these Yummi Yogi yoga pose cookie cutters? These would be fun as a stocking stuffer, or even as part of creative wrapping! (Bonus – you could decorate them as ice skaters or dancers as well!)Gift Guide for Yogis - If you know someone who loves yoga, they will love a gift idea from this list! 7. Meditation is an important part of yoga practice, but sometimes one of the hardest aspects to master. Luckily, mindfulness can be the first step to a meditation practice, which is where this awesome Mandalas Coloring Book comes in! It will zone you out and make you focus all at the same time.
  8. I love yoga blankets, especially these Mexican yoga blankets you often see in studios. Great for rolling and folding as a prop (or a makeshift bed for baby and me yoga!), you can also use it to keep warm during savasana. They’re also pretty enough to throw on your couch as functional decoration, too.
  9. This Lucy Yoga Girl Pullover is perfect as a layer to wear at the beginning of your practice, or just to layer en route to a yoga class.
  10. I have a couple of Beyond Yoga tanks and they are so ridiculously soft and comfortable. I love the detailing on the back of this Beyond Yoga Carefree Cut-Out Cami.
  11. I want a pair of these Buddha leggings from Noli Yoga – they are just amazing. They also come in a burgundy color.
  12. Forget G.I. Joe – make yoga, not war! These little Yoga Joes figurines would be cute stocking stuffers, ornaments, or a gift for your yoga friend’s kids.
  13. If your jewelry gets in the way when you’re practicing, but you still want a little bling, try some metallic foil temporary tattoos for fun.Gift Guide for Yogis - If you know someone who loves yoga, they will love a gift idea from this list! 14. A pretty yoga mat is a great choice for a gift. I have a few yoga mats, but I like the quality of my Gaiam Yoga Mat – it’s lasted for a long time and still looks new.
  15. If you have a friend who maybe needs to get “just breathe” tattooed permanently, give them the gift of a little more om in their life with a gift card to iTunes and a link to this meditation app, Buddhify.
  16. For hot yoga people, or anyone who just isn’t down with leggings for yoga, check out the Spandits! shorts collection in so many awesome patterns. I love that they come in three lengths – boy shorts, shorts, and boardies. Remember, I’m an ambassador, so you can save 10% with the code SPANDITSLOVE and tell them I sent you!
  17. Know a friend who does her own practice at home or while traveling? Gift them a monthly subscription to Yogi Tunes, a music stream for yogis.
  18. It’s in the name already – Yogi Teas are perfect for your yoga loving friend. They come in a huge assortment of flavors and types of tea (Egyptian Licorice is my all-time favorite) and each individual teabag has a zen saying on the tag. Buy a few flavors, add a pretty mug and you have a thoughtful and delicious gift.
  19. Okay, Lululemon has had some bad press over the last couple of years, but I am still a total sucker for their Wunder Under pants. And now they make them in the yoga stirrup design, which is perfect for layering in the winter time when you’re going to a class.

Tomorrow will bring another gift guide, so don’t forget to check back in! How are you doing with holiday shopping? I have all my Australian relatives’ gifts purchased and sent, but haven’t even thought about the rest of my shopping!

    1. They are incredible, right? You should forward the link to that website to your sister because they have a ton of other yoga inspired patterns.
