Jingle bells, kettle bells… If you’re a regular at the gym, or you strength train at home, I guarantee there’s something on this list that will catch your eye. Feel free to subtly forward this link to your significant other if they need a little nudge in the right direction when it comes to gift-giving!
We are on Day 4 of my gift guide week – in case you missed them, you can check out the gift guide for runners, for yogis and for healthy foodies. There’s one more coming up tomorrow, too! And just a disclosure that this post includes Amazon affiliate links, meaning if you click on one of these awesome gifts for anyone who loves working out and buy it through Amazon, Iβll get a small commission at no cost to you.
Enjoy the Fine Fit Day Gift Guide for the Gym Lover!
- Kettlebells are such a versatile tool to keep at home. I was seriously bummed to realize my kettlebell was left behind in Brooklyn when I foolishly used it to prop open our apartment door while the moving guys were packing. Boo. Anyway, mine was boring black, and these SPRI Kettlebells are fun colors while still being heavy – win-win.
- More jewels! More Etsy! Share your love of lifting with this sweet necklace. (psst…if you do a search of etsy for weight lifting jewelry, you will encounter a ton of awesome charms, necklaces and earrings. You’re welcome.)
- Lifting requires a different pair of shoes than the ones you run in. I’m a big fan of these New Balance Minium Zero Cross Trainers – they’re minimalist, but still have enough cushioning to deal with any HIIT cardio intervals you might throw into your strength training workout.
- Foam rollers are a lifter’s best friend. And a runner’s best friend. You should probably own one. If you’ve never foam rolled before, maybe try this basic foam roller to start, but once you get the hang of it, this TriggerPoint GRID foam roller is a special nightmare to enjoy.
- I want every hair on my head as far away from my face as possible when I’m working out. If you’re the same way, may as well bling it out with these Sparkly Soul headbands. They come in just about every color and pattern imaginable, they stay put and you can even rock them in everyday life.
- The Gymboss Interval Timer is an awesome gift for a gym lover – it’s a simple timer you can set for interval training, or rest periods. Whether you’re doing traditional lifting, AMRAPs, or HIIT, this little guy is your friend.
- If Pilates, Barre or yoga class at the gym is more your cup of tea, these Baleaf Grip Toeless Socks are a great stocking stuffer present. They’re grippy on the bottom so you won’t slip around and you get the feel of barefoot without actually having to go barefoot on a gym floor that’s probably only washed once a day.
- I love this Gaiam Everything Fits bag for the gym. It has separate pockets for your sneakers and your dirty workout clothes, it’s a stylish design and a cute color, too.
- This Master Lock Combination Lock combines letters and numbers on a rotating dial so you can set a password using all letters, all numbers, or a combination of both. You can also reset the password as often as you want – secure and easy to remember!
- You may remember I reviewed GoMacro Macrobars a while back (and a lucky reader received a box of their bars). I still love them and buy them regularly. My son even knows my favorite flavor (sunflower butter and chocolate) and points them out in the store. They’re vegan, macrobiotic, packed with protein and super filling.
- When I was about 12 years old, my best friend and I were obsessed with Marilyn Monroe. We used to rent every movie she was in and just do Marilyn marathons on our sleepover nights. So a workout tank featuring Norma Jean? Sold! From NoBull Woman on Etsy.
- You know I don’t often listen to music while running, but I usually love a good podcast or playlist when I’m lifting. It’s just a pain to have to rearrange where my phone or iPod is every time I lay down on a bench or shift position. Enter wireless headphones, thanks to Bluetooth. This set of wirless earphones from TEHMIS are small, in-ear and affordable.
- A jump rope is a handy tool for anyone who works out at home or travels a lot. It’s also great to have your own at the gym – there have been several occasions with clients where we wasted valuable workout minutes trying to find a rope that was the right length for them. Try this jump rope from Valeo.
- For anyone interested in learning beyond which muscles are worked in what exercise, Anatomy Trains by Thomas Myers is a fascinating look at fascia. (see what I did there?) Also, once I had the privilege of attending a workshop with Thomas Myers and he told me I had flexible fascia. #itstheweirdcomplimentsilove
- There are a bunch of subscription services for fitness people, which all make excellent gifts. Subscriptions are great because they’re literally the gift that keeps on giving. I was sent a Bestowed Box when they partnered with Women’s Health earlier this year and I was impressed – you can order one here.
- I’m an ambassador for Fit Approach and for FitFluential, both of which offer cool workout tees and tanks. Check out this ‘breathe + sweat + love” tank from Fit Approach, as well as this “Earned, Not Given” tee from FitFluential.
- I reveiwed the Grokker online subscription service recently – Grokker offers thousands of workouts of every type, plus recipes and cooking guides in their premium membership. One of the perks of the sponsored post I wrote was a 40% discount on their premium membership for my readers – use this link to sign up!
- Don’t use the gym’s free-for-all towels – take your own. May as well make it multi-tasking and try this Sports Towel that’s absorbent, fast-drying AND has a clever pocket for your valuables.
- A water bottle is a must at the gym and I’m in the market for a new one. I haven’t tried this Contigo AUTOSEAL Bottle, but I have a Contigo coffee thermos which is ridiculously well-designed and durable.
What are your must-haves for the gym? This is one guide that could have been way longer – I had to edit it down! I hope you’re having as much fun reading these gift guides as I am putting them together. I’m also pinning lots of fun gift guides from other websites and bloggers on Pinterest – check it out here:

I have a pretty durable foam roller but one of those trigger point ones I have always had my eye on. I love subscription boxes. I have never tried bestowed though.

Bestowed was good – full size samples from good brands and a nice mix of things. Trigger point is the best – I used to use it at the gym all the time.
Triggerpoint rollers are the bomb diggity. I love mine!

Hurts so GOOD!!
You named so many things that I forgot I want, ha! Like an interval timer… great list!
I saw someone using one at the gym and quizzed them on it because I thought it was such a good idea. Takes all the guesswork out!
So many great picks here! I love Anatomy Trains. Such a great resource. The lift heavy necklace is so cute!
